 Level 3 Automotive Panel Technician

?We have a position available in Manchester - M40 for an automotive panel technican.

Overview - Demonstrating expert working knowledge in relation to the removal, repair and replacement of vehicle body panels.

A Vehicle Damage Panel Technician works within the Collision Repair workshop, demonstrating expert working knowledge in relation to the removal, repair and replacement of vehicle body panels to vehicle manufacturer specification. The vehicles can include cars and light commercial vehicles. A technician is able to work independently and as part of a team following a defined process, using their skills to correctly identify the different body panel types and have the ability to use the correct repair tools to carry out the work to the highest possible standard. With motor vehicle technology changing all the time panel technicians keep up to date with the most relevant equipment and advanced repair techniques within the automotive industry.

  • Minimum of 30 hours per week 
  • Day release to Tameside College, Beaufort Road Campus - Must be able to travel to Manchester - M40 also. 
  • Experience from a prior course is desirable.
  • Candidates to ideally have a 4/C in maths/English

Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner 

Pennine Medical Centre is seeking a professional and highly motivated Medical Receptionist to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team in a very busy medical practice based in Mossley, Ashton Under Lyne. The successful applicant will be enrolled in the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification with Tameside College.  

The applicant will work at both the Mossley OL5 9AJ and Greenfield OL3 7EQ sites on a Rota basis and sometimes at short notice to cover periods of leave. The team provides support to all patients and clinicians, maintaining a professional disposition at all times. 

This is an apprenticeship therefore previous experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.   

Training Provider: Tameside College (OL6 6NX) 

This course is delivered using a blended delivery model, our assessor will deliver this apprenticeship in the workplace with optional study days at college.   

Course Duration: 12 Months plus 3 Months End point assessments

General Duties 

• Ensuring reception and administration duties and responsibilities within the practice are carried out accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to the policies and protocols  

• Receiving calls and assisting with direct face to face patient enquiries  

• Using the clinical IT system (EMIS) to make appointments, record administration events, process medication requests and many other miscellaneous duties  

• Document management using Docman software  

• Handling specimens and ensuring the appropriate forms have been completed accurately  

• Facilitating timely and appropriate communications internally and with external services and organisations  

• Processing medication requests including receiving and recording requests for repeat prescriptions, issuing repeat prescriptions authorised by the clinicians, forwarding prescription queries to relevant clinicians 

 • Processing internal and external electronic communications in a timely manner  

• Opening and distributing in-coming and out-going mail including scanning and posting  

• Registering new patients accurately and ensuring all new patient documentation is completed  

• Maintaining inventories such as supplies/stationary/refreshments  

• General filing  

• Photocopying  

• Other duties considered appropriate to the post

DENTAL NURSE Apprenticeship LEVEL 3 STANDARD 

A local Dental Practice  is offering an Apprenticeship In Dental Nursing. located in Denton  Greater Manchester, M34 7GR. This dental practice has been registered since January of 2022.and serves the local community.

You will need to be able to travel to M34 7GR and also Tameside College, Beaufort Road, OL66NX. You will spend one day a week in college for the remainder of the week you will gain valuable work experience in the workplace. Hours of work may range from a minimum of 30 to a maximum of 40 hours a week.

Candidates must have a 3 or D in maths and English to apply,

Successful candidates will be interviewed by the college then referred to the employer for an interview.

The course is approximately 18-24 months long in duration and you will be completing a Dental Nursing Apprenticeship

Wage is currently £5.28 per hour, rising to £6.40 in April in line with National Minimum Wage.

The qualification includes attending Tameside College 1 day per week for training which is a paid working day. The college is easily accessible by multiple transport links, bus stations, metro links and train stations are all within a stones throw.

  • NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - FULL TRAINING PROVIDED, 
  • You must be willing to complete the full duration of the apprenticeship and attend college one day a week at Tameside College.

Overview: PBH Shopfitting are based in Eccles, Manchester They work closely with architects and designers to create quality interiors for retail, commercial and leisure businesses. Job Summary: 

We have vacancies available in the Denton and Stalybridge area for those who are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Level 2 Hair Professional Apprentice to join their team. This role is perfect for a school leaver looking to kickstart and progress their career in the vibrant hair industry. The apprenticeship involves practical salon experience and one day per week at college to hone your skills and gain your qualifications. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assisting senior stylists with client consultations and hair treatments

 Level 3 Automotive Paint Technician

We have a position available in Rochdale (Heywood) for an automotive paint technican.

Job Overview - Preparing, spraying and finishing vehicles that have been involved in collisions and other incidents.

A Vehicle Damage Paint Technician works in the vehicle body repair sector of the motor industry. The role is to prepare, spray and finish vehicles that have been involved in collisions and other incidents in an efficient manner. The vehicles can include Cars/Light Commercial Vehicles. This includes ensuring correct colour match and final finish to the company and customers exacting standards. This is usually within a collision repair workshop or smart repair workshops/mobile repair micro business and working alongside another fully qualified Paint Technician.

They understand the general principles of spray painting technology, paint composition, paint mixing and the various methods of paint spraying vehicles.

  • Apprenticeship Wage - £6.40ph 
  • Minimum of 30 hours per week 
  • Day release to Tameside College, Beaufort Road Campus - Must be able to travel to Rochdale - Heywood, also. 
  • Candidates to ideally have a 4/C in maths/English
