About the employer

Based in Dukinfield, CPF Installation Limited are specialists in the manufacture and installation of commercial, industrial and retail fitouts throughout the UK.  Their bespoke joinery manufacturing facility works hand in hand with project teams to help clients achieve their objectives.  They work from design to completion.  They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, has attention to detail and will be committed.

 

Duties

  • Duty 1 Receive, read, and interpret job specifications. For example, drawings, and technical information.
  • Duty 2 Maintain the work area for health, safety, and environmental compliance before, during, and after the furniture making activity.
  • Duty 3 Plan work and resources, including sustainable practices to complete and meet targets for the furniture manufacturing activities.
  • Duty 4 Organise availability and condition of machinery, tools, equipment and materials.
  • Duty 5 Perform first line maintenance tasks on furniture machinery, tools and equipment. For example, checking, cleaning and lubricating.
  • Duty 6 Prepare for operation of machinery, power tools, hand tools and equipment used to manufacture furniture and components.
  • Duty 7 Check jigs and templates for furniture production. For example, checking for any faults or damage, reporting issues.
  • Duty 8 Prepare materials prior to assembly and post-assembly and for job completion. Resolve flaws or issues with materials. For example, sand, clean and glue materials, including plywood, medium density fibreboard (MDF), and melamine faced chipboard (MFC).
  • Duty 9 Manufacture components of furniture using machinery, tools, and equipment. For example, measure, cut and shape materials using saws, chisels, planes, power tools and woodworking machinery.
  • Duty 10 Assemble components of furniture. For example, glue joints and fit part sections using staples, dowels, screws, and nails.
  • Duty 11 Complete finishing operations on assembled furniture. For example, spray techniques on surfaces, attach fittings and fixtures to assembled furniture.
  • Duty 12 Complete rectification, repair, or rework on furniture items where necessary.
  • Duty 13 Pack and store finished assemblies and conduct quality assurance checks. Rectify or report issues.
  • Duty 14 Complete documentation or digital information relating to the furniture making process. For example, job sheets, work to do lists, production records.
  • Duty 15 Support continuous improvement and problem solving activities. For example, identify issues to address business needs.

As an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in ensuring high standards of care and education for children aged 0-5 years. Key Duties:

  • Implement Policies and Guidelines: Ensure all nursery policies and procedures are followed to provide high-quality care.

A local Dental Practice  is offering an Apprenticeship In Dental Nursing. located in Denton  Greater Manchester, M34 7GR. This dental practice has been registered since January of 2022.and serves the local community.

You will need to be able to travel to M34 7GR and also Tameside College, Beaufort Road, OL66NX. You will spend one day a week in college for the remainder of the week you will gain valuable work experience in the workplace. Qualification - Apprenticeship Level 2 Food Process Operator with Tameside College. The broad purpose of the occupation is to complete food and drink processing procedures to contribute to the manufacture of safe and compliant food products. They support technical operators to complete start up, set up, line changeovers, and shut down of food and drink production lines and machinery. They monitor product quality and throughput against key performance indicators. With a team focus, they prepare for the on-coming shift and provide handovers. Contributing to continuous improvement, stock control and audits is also part of the role.

Duration 12-16 months.

The qualification includes attending Tameside College 1 day per week for training which is a paid working day. The college is easily accessible by multiple transport links, bus stations, metro links and train stations are all within a stones throw.

Applicants for this position must demonstrate strong time management skills, maintain excellent attendance, and be available to work early morning shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.

About you

  • Minimum age requirement for applicants is 17+ 
  • NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - FULL TRAINING PROVIDED
  • You must be willing to complete the full duration of the apprenticeship and attend college one day a week at Tameside College.
  • May suit people who have completed a lower level of Engineering and are looking for a different pathway to take.
  • Must be willing to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Salary is dependent on age subject to NMW for your age.

Duties will include but are not limited to...

  • Complete food and drink processing procedures.
