Jody boxes clever Thu, 04 February 2016 Jody Cunningham, a HND Sport student from Tameside College has turned her talent for boxing into a part-time instructor career alongside her studies. The former Copley Academy student from Millbrook said: “I really enjoy teaching the boxing classes as I love the sport and hope that I can help other students with their fitness by making classes fun.” Jody now hopes to secure a job in sports development, after completing her HND in Sport and provide coaching opportunities for more people to improve their fitness. Chris Banks, Sports Development Officer at Tameside College said: “Jody is a fantastic student and we’re thrilled that she has joined the team to teach boxing classes whilst still committing to her studies full-time.
